A Brief History of Tauke Motors

Tauke Motors has been a staple of the Dyersville area ever since the business was opened in 1971. 

 

Over the years the store has been run by generations of Tauke Brothers, starting with Dave and Marv who sold farm equipment and eventually expanded into Auto Industry after purchasing The Hogan Motor Company. 

 


The Second Generation of Tauke Brothers, Doug and Dan, made their way into the family business and continued to offer the same great service as their Father and Uncle. It has always been important for us to give back to the community whether it be sponsoring a little league team, donating to local charities or volunteering time and talent to help those in need.

 

Though the landscape the business has changed dramatically since 1971, one thing you can count on is the same honesty, respect and top tier service that has been here since the beginning. 

 

Now the Third Generation of Tauke Brothers, Matt, Mitch and Nate, are involved and are making certain that the legacy that has been laid before them is carried on for years to come.  We have been blessed with more support from the local area than we deserve and have had the best employees to help continue what was started so many years ago.
